Pré-sal brasileiro e o desafio furtadiano em um contexto de crise ambiental: desenvolvimento e sustentabilidade

A descoberta e viabilização de uma imensa fonte de petróleo em águas profundas, o pré?sal, abrem um amplo espectro de possibilidades. Vem à tona a preocupação com a utilização dos recursos ambientais, sua finitude e as consequências de seu uso. Dessas questões resultarão respostas que definirão em parte como o Brasil deseja posicionar?se na nova configuração mundial, definindo o curso de seu futuro ou sendo objeto deste. Constitui o escopo deste trabalho explorar, ainda que brevemente, essas correlações, visando a construção da cidadania brasileira e a delimitação jurídica do poder econômico com o objetivo de que se ultrapasse o subdesenvolvimento nacional e se conclua o projeto de construção da nação.
