El Uso del Video en Intervenciones Clínicas con Padres: Revisión de la Literatura e Hipótesis Comportamentales sobre sus Efectos

Resumen

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo presentar una revisión de literatura del área de intervenciones clínicas que emplean el video como estrategia de intervención, principalmente en el área de orientación de padres de niños pré-escolares. Se pretende, tambien, presentar hipótesis funcionales sobre el proceso comportamental implícito en la obtención de resultados positivos con el uso de este recurso. Se discuten las ventajas del empleo del video en la optimización de las orientaciones ofrecidas, abreviando las intervenciones, favoreciendo la adhesión, reduciendo los costos y llevando al alcance de resultados positivos en el menor tiempo posible.
