The Journal is hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and does not charge any fees for article publication. Additionally, we adhere to open science and open access policies, based on the principle that freely accessible scientific content supports greater global democratization of knowledge.
All our content is published under the Creative Commons - CC By 4.0 License. Thus, it is permitted to copy, distribute, display, transmit, and adapt the article, as long as explicit and clear attribution is given to the original publication of the article in The Journal Of Psychology: Theory and Practice. The use of the article for inclusion in institutional repositories or other means of dissemination or digital preservation is also authorized. JPTP believes that these are important strategies for greater dissemination and citation of published works.
The copyright of articles published in The Journal Of Psychology: Theory and Practice belongs to the authors, who grant non-exclusive rights of publication to the Mackenzie Presbyterian University.
In accordance with open science editorial practices, this journal:
- Accepts the submission of articles that have previously or simultaneously been deposited in trusted Preprint repositories, as long as this is duly indicated to the journal at the time of article submission.
- Accepts the submission of articles that involve data sharing, codes, protocols, methods, or underlying research results, through depositing them in trusted data repositories, as long as this is duly indicated to the journal at the time of article submission and does not violate the privacy or ethical consent of human research subjects. Authors can consult the Global Registry of Research Data Repositories (re3data.org) to help them identify relevant registered and certified repositories for their respective thematic areas.
