Abstract

The work is intended to discuss the role of architecture and urbanism as tools of action and transformation of cities in an attempt to locate them front of the new dimensions found in the territories of contemporary cities, such as fragmentation, shredding, disarticulation, vacant lands, fluidity and network fluxes through the presentation of ideas, approaches, notions and concepts that bring the architecture and urbanism to the intellectual crossroads because they are crucial to the recovery and development of our cities.
