Paisagismo de conjuntos habitacionais: avaliação de três experiências em São Paulo

Abstract

This work is about the evaluation of low-income housings environmental quality landscape architecture. The three low income housings: “Cidade Jaraguá”, “Jaraguá B” are located on the northern area of the city, the “Jaraguá B”, and the “Garagem”, on East. For that are focused questions about: the growing of São Paulo city, the habitation deficit, and produced informal establishments and “favelas”, poverty of infrastructure and heath. For change this situation are constructed low-income housings, located in the most cases, far way of the city center. Those areas almost always had important vegetation, almost destroyed with the implantation of this low-income housing. The methodology is based in community consulting, interviews and questionnaires. This is to evaluate the spaces’ relation about: leisure spaces, existent vegetation, conservation stage, landscape architecture proposed and their implementation. The conclusions involve the understanding of the process, since the implantation of this low-income housing until the consolidation, with emphasizing landscape architecture projects and the vegetation recomposition.
