Abstract

The present work had the goal of conducting an exploratory investigation focused on the interactions between the environment and people´s behavior in a public square. The object of study was an Articulated Life Unit (UVA) square in the city of Medellín, Colombia. Qualitative methods were used for the analysis and the results showed that the square seems to have characteristics that promote social and environmental sustainability.
