Abstract
This is the 2007 volume of the Graduate Journal of the Architecture and Urban Planning School, Presbyterian University Mackenzie, which is now open to external contributions. The themes presented show: the use of 3D models for the study of cities and their transformations; a comparative study of the tertiary sector in Mexico City and São Paulo urban areas, aiming the design of urban environmental public policies; the undergoing research on information technology applied to architectural and urban design; the multidisciplinary issues involved on the environmental quality analysis, picturing the theories of perception, memory of space and gestalt of the city; the study of the Arabic culture influence in Brazilian architecture; the sustainable design for poor communities in São Paulo, done by Brazilian and Italian design students. Also, there is a reprint of a very important review on the first two volumes of Arquiteses, published by FAUUSP, which includes the best thesis and dissertations produced in its graduate program.Downloads
