Abstract

The call for papers guiding this publication proposed a discussion and presentation of the public use of the city’s public spaces. It highlights the importance of collective and public life, the city, and the architecture that shapes it and supports its dynamics.

Rafael Patrick Schimidt, graduated architect and urban planner by the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR, 2004). Masters from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP, 2009). PhD from School of Architecture and Urban Planner of Presbyterian University Mackenzie (FAUMACK, 2016). Professor of Architectural Project at FAUMACK.
