About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Revista Direito Mackenzie (Mackenzie Law Review) is a four-monthly publication, Qualis A2 (2017-2020), of the Postgraduate Program of the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (UPM) School of Law and aims to disseminate and promote the intellectual production of legal research in the following areas:

(a) Historicism of Law and Legal Rationality and Social Systems;

b) Citizenship shaping the State and

c) Economic Power and its legal limits.

Only unpublished articles written by authors with doctoral degrees (eg. Ph.D. or J.D. equivalent) will be accepted for publication. Exceptionally, articles by masters degree holders will be accepted, provided that they have a doctoral degree as co-author or that the research is funded by a national or international funding agency. The articles may be written in Spanish, French, English, Italian, and French.

Periodicity

The journal is published every four months.
