Abstract

The methodology presented aims to help in understanding what is the recoverable amount of financial assets and to propose a way of proceeding in cases of measuring the recoverable amount of assets that are not marked to market, are not liquid, held in the portfolio until maturity and cause a reflection on the best way to measure and account for these assets.
