Uma discussão sobre a relação entre sistemas de controle gerencial, liderança sombria e a síndrome de burnout nos colaboradores

Resumo

O papel do líder é fundamental para um ambiente saudável dentro da organização. O estilo de liderança afeta a cultura corporativa da organização no sentido que afeta as crenças que os empregados têm acerca de como serão tratados nas diversas circunstâncias dentro de um contexto organizacional. Embora seja perceptível que nas últimas décadas tem-se visto  crescentemente um movimento de criação de programas de saúde e bem-estar por setores de Recursos Humanos em diversas corporações, sejam elas megagrupos empresariais tradicionais ou startups modernas com roupagem disruptiva, o número de casos de síndrome do esgotamento profissional (Burnout), vem crescendo, mesmo antes da classificação da síndrome como doença pela OMS.   Segundo à OMS, em 2021, o Brasil era o país com maior taxa de pessoas com ansiedade, além de ocupar o quinto lugar no ranking de pessoas com depressão. A existência ou não de políticas e sistemas de controles gerenciais nos processos de definição e controle ou mensuração de metas, sob influência de liderança sombria, podem em tese promover um ambiente propício ao acometimento de burnout nos colaboradores. Há espaço para a gestão e governança em torno da responsabilidade dos líderes de topo como desencadeadores do esgotamento profissional. especificamente quando exercem seus papéis de gestores de forma enviesada no momento que organizam, definem e lideram o processo de estabelecimento de metas e/ou objetivos, bem como da mensuração ou controle dos mesmos.
