Abstract

This dissertation deals with the transformations in the way of living in Interlagos (from neighborhood and area) since its formation and deployment of private condominium in large batches. The research period is from 1937, with the beginning of the upgrading project in the region of Interlagos, with the history of dam construction and subdivision of Guarapiranga specific Interlagos until 2010 with the recent changes of the Industrial Park of Santo Amaro and deployment of new ventures closed housing. The residential neighborhood, originally designed by Agache, has until today even segregated public spaces, unlike the gated communities that internalize. Aim of this research a regression of urbanity in the production of urban space in São Paulo.
