Mulheres que recontam mulheres: o retorno de Ana Cristina Cesar em Vésperas, de Adriana Lunardi

Abstract

In the last hundred years, female authorship in the literary environment has leapt. It was in the 20th century that the great women of Brazilian literature who are constantly remembered today emerged. Like so many presents in contemporary literature, Adriana Lunardi has also shown herself to be one of the great names in literature in the 21st century. In Vésperas, written in 2002, Lunardi builds female characters based on authors who have been on the literary scene in recent centuries. From the perspective of recounting women, this work attempts to analyse the short story Ana C. which recalls Brazilian author Ana Cristina Cesar in a moment of apparition to a friend who will soon be passed over.
