Abstract

This article analyzes the novel Humanos exemplares published by Juliana Leite in 2022, starting from the post-memory structure to observe the construction of the historical period of the Brazilian military dictatorship in the present time through the questioning of the legacies and inheritances that are transmitted between the different generations, both individually and historically and socially. It is observed that the literary text in question provides the sharing of stories and memories of the Brazilian military dictatorship between generations, thus keeping the received heritage alive and eternalized through the gesture of resistance that is the act of writing.
