Abstract

One of the main challenges to EMI program implementation is related to the English proficiency level of the actors. This paper presents the partial results of an investigation on internationalization in an engineering program of a public institution. Two questionnaires were applied to students interested in attending an EMI program. Although the participants acknowledge the relevance of English studying, speaking and listening skills seem to be the greatest challenges which makes the EMI program implementation particularly more difficult.
