Abstract

The first part of this article presents the external history and the reception of the first editions of Fernando Pessoa’s The book of disquiet. The project-like status of the Book is confirmed by different editing approaches, which, in regard to the corpus and its organization, have not reached a consensus. Such diversity of appropriations is made available and enhanced at the Arquivo LdoD, a digital platform that seeks to conciliate what matters to experts with the interests of the community. The article reflects upon the fashion in which this conciliation is carried out on the platform.
