Abstract

The article discusses the creative process of pianistic interpretation of works from the erudite repertoire and presents the interdisciplinary proposal of "Pianistic Installations" as a creative exercise. It discusses concepts of the limit of interpretation and its reflections on academic research and teaching. Finally it presents the creative process and interdisciplinary characteristics of the work "Ignis Fatuus" based on the fourth movement of Sonata Op.35 by Frederic Chopin that was one of the installations integration "Con Anima Pianistic Installations" as a result of research for a Doctorate in Arts at the Institute of Arts of Unesp.
