Actitudes de Profesionales sobre el Consumo de Drogas en Mujeres Embarazadas

El uso de drogas es uno de los factores asociados a los embarazos de alto riesgo, las creencias y actitudes de los profesionales constituyen posibles obstáculos para la atención de la salud. El presente estudio buscó verificar las actitudes profesionales hacia las mujeres embarazadas que usan drogas. Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica entre 2000 y febrero de 2020, en las bases de datos Scielo, Lilacs, Pubmed, Scopus y PsycINFO. Al final fueron analizados 24 artículos, todos en idioma inglés. Se identificaron actitudes negativas en el 37% de los artículos, y actitudes positivas en la misma medida; también se encontraron actitudes ambivalentes (25%). Además, algunos de los estudios señalaron ciertas barreras con respecto a las intervenciones. Las actitudes negativas y moralizantes denotan un carácter individualizador. Respecto a las actitudes positivas, estas pueden tener un papel fundamental en el desempeño profesional, y en la salud materna y del feto.
