Identity and Adolescent Pregnancy

Abstract

This work is framed by the research project “Unconscious Meanings of Pregnancy in Gravid State”, of the Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis, Argentina. The above mentioned research project is being carried out in the city of San Luis, with an accidental non-probabilist sample including pregnant adolescents who will give birth before becoming 20 years of age. The objective of this work is to analiza how the pregnant adolescent perceives herself, how she shows in relation to her identity in front of the pregnancy situation, and which her fantasy is about the future perspective and the experiences of separation, which will allow us to make inferences about the relationship between the adolescent and her child. We will work with the Rorschach protocols making particular reference to pictures I and X.
