Fabiano of Vidas secas
Possible dialogues between the character of Graciliano Ramos and the Oppressed man of Paulo Freire
Keywords:
Paulo Freire, Graciliano Ramos, EducationAbstract
Education, a universal human right, is often denied. And, in this denial, we see the contradiction of what Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator, considered the ontological vocation of man: that of being more. This paper proposes the reading of the social being analyzed by Freire, being fictionalized by Graciliano Ramos in his Fabiano, protagonist of Vidas secas (1938).
