This article has as its theme the politeness strategies used for the maintenance of faces in texts of the feedback genre. The hypothesis is that linguistic strategies are aimed at preserving the faces of the interactants. We list the question: what are the politeness strategies used that promote the maintenance of the faces of the interactants? We list as a central objective to map and analyze politeness linguistic marks that promote the maintenance of the faces of the interactants As a theoretical contribution, we will articulate the contributions of Austin (1990), Goffman (2012) and Brown and Levinson (1987). For analysis we present an excerpt of a text from the research corpus as an example.
