Abstract

This article addresses the playful elements as possible tools for participation, social engagement and dialogue between architects and city users. By stimulating interest in urban debate in a non-specialized audience, games can be seen as builders of political culture by addressing issues such as collectivity, democracy and dissent. This article presents the elaboration and development of the City Game, which seeks to work, through cooperation, the idea of participation as a game of negotiation and conflict.
