O road novel de autoria feminina

This article aims to delimit, from a historical-cultural perspective, a kind of historiography of the road novel by women, covering from the first initiatives from the 1970s, in the United States, to the most recent publications, in Brazil, so, in the end, recognize two fundamental movements of this trajectory: one about contesting the roads, the other about the appropriation of this space of dispute, in which the traditional gender roles consist of the parameters to be overcome.
