Evidências de Validade para o Teste Pictórico de Memória: Relação com a Inteligência | Revista Psicologia: Teoria e Prática

Resumo

O objetivo do estudo foi verificar evidências de validade para o Teste Pictórico de Memória. Participaram 436 indivíduos, sendo 182 do sexo masculino e 254 do feminino, com idades variando de 10 a 60 anos, que cursavam desde a segunda série do Ensino Fundamental até cursos universitários. Foram aplicados o Teste Pictórico de Memória e o Teste de Raciocínio Inferencial de forma coletiva. Os resultados revelaram correlações variando de 0,19 até 0,44 para os três ambientes que compõem o Teste Pictórico de Memória, e correlações variando de 0,40 até 0,56 quando considerada a pontuação total do teste. Quanto aos grupos extremos, os indivíduos com alta e baixa pontuação no Teste de Raciocínio Inferencial apresentaram diferenças nas quatro medidas do Teste de Memória. Dessa forma, evidências de validade de critério concorrente e por grupos extremos foram verificadas para o Teste Pictórico de Memória.
