Abstract

In a contemporary artistic scenario identified by the plurality of manifestations and styles that don’t follow predefined formulas or models, this work has the objective to discuss the novel Tropeço, by Anderson Feliciano (2020), whereas an example of performance capable of rendering problematic the limits of literary classifications. Therefore, the reflections of Alex Beigui and Leda Maria Martins will be considered, who lean over the performative expressions, in addition to the contributions of Maria Esther Maciel, Lyslei Nascimento, and Cássio Hissa, who allowed us to think about the matters of categorizations, order, limits, and borders.
