Abstract

Presentation of both method and results of assessment applied to the São Paulo Metropolitan Region in order to delimit METROPOLITAN TERRITORIAL UNITS – space pieces characterized as a function of socioeconomical dynamics, demand and shortage of housing and public services as well – whose definition aims at the development of public policies of regional scope.
