Abstract

This article aims to know the current relations between the human behavior and the fire exits system in the historical buildings. For that, the Systematic Search Flow method used to carry out a systematic search, next to literature, of related works. In this search, 218 documents were found, among which, after analysis, it was considered that four documents guided the subjects of interest. The analysis enabled the mapping of titles, authors, date of publication, the nationality of institutions, number of researchers in the teams, the scientific journal of publication, theoretical aims, research methods, keywords, citations, relationships between human behavior and exit systems, the studied sites and recommendations for future works. The importance of the School in the face of the theme is discussed together. The few studies found in the literature is an indication that the relationship between human behavior and fire exits in historic buildings has not been sufficiently studied.  It is noticed that there is a need for a greater number of researchers for a better understanding of the subject and, consequently, better solutions on the protection of human life and the historical collections in listed buildings.
