Interdisciplinalidad para la Evaluación e Intervención en las Dificultades Alimentarias en Autistas

Considerando la adolescencia como un período con altas necesidades de interacción social, es importante que los estudios se dirijan a la salud mental de esta población durante el aislamiento social provocado por la pandemia de Covid-19. Así, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo: 1) Describir la frecuencia de problemas emocionales/conductuales entre una muestra de adolescentes en aislamiento social utilizando el informe de los padres; 2) Evaluar diferencias en problemas emocionales/conductuales considerando variables de género y grupo de edad; 3) Evaluar la probabilidad de problemas clínicos emocionales/conductuales para las variables de género y grupo de edad. 240 padres/tutores legales de adolescentes de 12-18 años cumplimentaron los siguientes formularios a través de una herramienta de formularios de Google (Google Forms): Formulario de caracterización; CBCL/6-18. Los resultados apuntan a Problemas de Internalización, Ansiedad/Depresión y Depresión/Retiro como los más frecuentes en nuestra muestra. Las niñas obtuvieron puntajes más altos y mayores posibilidades de problemas somáticos, y los niños tuvieron puntajes más altos en problemas de conducta. Los preadolescentes obtuvieron puntuaciones más altas en las escalas de problemas sociales y problemas de atención/hiperactividad. Los adolescentes mayores tienen más probabilidades de tener problemas depresivos y quejas somáticas. Estos hallazgos demuestran la necesidad de que los padres/tutores legales y los profesionales de la salud presten atención a estos resultados clínicos en la salud mental de los adolescentes.
