o espectador como personagem na cena teatral em Eu de Você
Keywords:
Performance., teatro contemporâneo, personagemAbstract
This article analyzes a scene from the play Eu de Você, performed by Denise Fraga, in which a spectator is invited to directly participate in the dramatic action. It examines the spectator as a figure who exceeds the condition of a passive receiver and assumes an active role in the theatrical event. The study proposes the notion of the spectator-character, constituted through the interaction between narrative, body, and reception. The analysis draws on contributions from performance studies, particularly Richard Schechner (2013), postdramatic theatre theory, with Hans-Thies Lehmann (2019), and reflections on alterity and presence, based on Martin Buber (2009) and Mikhail Bakhtin (2006). It argues that, by challenging the separation between stage and audience, the scene produces a hybrid zone between fiction and reality. Thus, the article contributes to understanding contemporary theatre as a relational space of affective sharing.
