Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text is spaced 1.5; uses a 12-point Times New Roman font; uses italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document as attachments. It does not exceed the number of pages in relation to the type of article. All pages must be numbered. The text should be left aligned, not justified. Indent only the first line of the paragraph.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
  • URLs for referrals were provided when possible.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Instructions to Submit, on the page About the Journal.

Author Guidelines

The Revista de Economia Mackenzie (REM) publishes papers about economic theory, economics of the Third Sector, economics of social inclusion, applied economics, macroeconomics, environmental economics, economic policy, financial economics, development economics, economic history, history of economic thought, economic methodology, microeconomics and related areas, whose subjects are relevant to the field of economics.

The articles submitted to REM's appreciation must be unpublished, nationally and internationally, and must not be under consideration for publication in any other dissemination vehicle.
