Problemas Emocionais/Comportamentais entre uma Amostra de Adolescentes Brasileiros durante a Pandemia COVID-19.

Considerando a adolescência como um período com altas necessidades de interação social é importante que estudos se voltem para a saúde mental dessa população durante o isolamento social provocado pela pandemia COVID-19. O presente estudo teve como objetivos: 1) Descrever a frequência de problemas emocionais/comportamentais entre uma amostra de adolescentes em isolamento social utilizando o relato dos pais; 2) Avaliar diferenças nos problemas emocionais/comportamentais considerando as variáveis sexo e grupo etário; 3) Avaliar risco para problemas emocionais/comportamentais clínicos para as variáveis sexo e grupo etário. 240 pais/responsáveis por adolescentes com idades entre 12-18 anos preencheram os seguintes formulários via Google Forms: 1) Ficha de caracterização; 2) CBCL/6-18. Os resultados apontam para Problemas Internalizantes, Ansiedade/Depressão e Depressão/Retraimento como mais frequentes. Meninas apresentaram maiores pontuações e maiores chances para Problemas Somáticos e meninos apresentaram maiores pontuações para Problemas de Conduta. Pré-adolescentes pontuaram mais nas escalas: Problemas Sociais e Problemas de Atenção/Hiperatividade. Adolescentes mais velhos possuem mais chances para Problemas Depressivos e Queixas Somáticas. Tais achados demonstram a necessidade de atenção por parte de pais/responsáveis e profissionais da saúde para esses desfechos clínicos na saúde mental de adolescentes.
