Na Busca por Cidades Possíveis: As Ambiências e a Subjetividade como Pilares dessa Possibilidade

Abstract

The current discourse about life in the cities almost always sounds like a verdict that the basic principle of its definition, use as a complex and collective belonging, no longer appears as something possible. However, there are but a few voices that try to put a position contrary to that speech which seems to be more common nowadays. These, in a manner directly or indirectly point to the observation of the subject that allows affect up from the (re)cognition of the “other”, and may be as much a subject as the place itself. It is based on this understanding, and from exploration in search of understanding of urban ambiences, this article proposes a speech. We want, as well as some researchers today, understand what is needed to keep the effective possibility of daily life, the essence of life in cities.
